While there are the usual array of injury worries ahead of this evening's game at Richmond Park, the most pressing concern is for the fixture itself with the continuing cold spell threatening to make the pitch unplayable again. The current plan is for a pitch inspection at noon but if the game is called off at that stage then it may well be refixed for Sunday.
On the injury front, Ger McCarthy, who missed last week's win in Kilkenny is still ruled out by an ankle injury but Paul Byrne has recovered from a bout of the 'flu and is available.
Bray could be without Mick Doohan again with the Wanderers skipper having picked up a new injury in training this week after recovering from 'flu while Eddie Gormley (calf), Maurice Farrell (hamstring) and Dave Campbell (groin strain) are also considered to be doubtful.
