Derry City v Bray Wanderers

Derry City v Bray Wanderers

(Brandywell, 7.45)

With Darren Kelly away with the Northern Ireland under-21s and Paddy McLaughlin, his central defensive partner, struggling with a calf injury, Derry manager Kevin Mahon is in a quandary.

With fingers crossed that McLaughlin is fit to start, Eddie McCallion may move across from right back to partner him with Eamonn Doherty dropping back from midfield to play at full back. On the plus side, Padraig Moran and Liam Coyle are both fit to finally strike up a partnership in attack from the start.

Bray's injury crisis has eased with Dave Campbell, Jody Lynch and Davy Williamson fit to rejoin the squad having missed the opening three games.

Midfielder Stephen Fox, impressive in Bray's start to the campaign, has recovered from the thigh knock he received against Cork City last Friday.

Despite having scored on their last seven trips to the Brandywell, Bray have never won there in 13 attempts.

UCD v St Patrick's Athletic

(Belfield, 7.30)

Martin Moran bids farewell as manager with the express wish of three points as his going away present. "A win would be nice as we would have seven points out of 12 from four games," said Moran.

"We also need to get that 6-0 defeat to Bohs out of our system. But, personally, if you are talking about a going away present, give me three points tonight."

Clive Delaney's return from a three-match ban may go some way towards shoring up a defence that simply couldn't cope with a rampant Bohemians at Dalymount.

Scholarship students Stephen Lynch and Paul Whelan, son of Paul and nephew of ex-Irish international Ronnie, come into the squad.

St Patrick's wait on striker Ger McCarthy and midfielder Paul Osam, both struggling with knee injuries. Robert Doyle, Micahel Holt and Ciarβn Quinn stand by to replace McCarthy while Darren O'Keeffe and Seβn Mannion provide options if Osam fails a fitness test.
