NFL DIVISION FOUR: Carlow 2-10 Wcklow 1-13:CARLOW AND Wicklow played out a thrilling draw at Dr Cullen Park yesterday, in a game played at championship fervour and which both sides ended with 14 men.

Luke Dempsey’s Carlow side looked to have secured both league points when they went four points (2-8 to 0-12) ahead with just 12 minutes remaining.

But the Garden County found a way back through a superb goal from the outstanding Leighton Glynn and it took a Carlow point from JJ Smith just at the end of normal time to earn the Barrowsiders a division of the spoils.

The second half was a hugely exciting affair with the play swinging from end to end and a Glynn goal brought Wicklow back into the game – with a draw being a fair outcome.
