RUGBY: Connacht coach Steph Nel has made three changes to the team that defeated Narbonne in the second leg of the previous round for Saturday's Parker Pen Challenge Cup quarter-final against Pontypridd at Ericsson Park (5.30).

Buccaneers wing Ted Robinson is ruled out because of injury so Gavin Duffy deputises with Mark McHugh named at full back.

Jerry Flannery is preferred to Marnus Uijs at hooker while the province will be without their promising back-row forward John O'Sullivan. Johnny O'Connor comes in on the openside with Michael Swift happily rehabilitated after being stretchered off in a friendly game against Leinster last Friday night.

Pontypridd have a number of injury problems to deal with, including world record points scorer Neil Jenkins.
