Women's Football/ Dublin 0-12 Kildare 0-12: Dublin avoided defeat at Sarsfields Park, Newbridge, yesterday when Mary Nevin held her nerve to fire the equaliser from a 30-metre free in the ninth minute of injury time.
Kildare, 0-6 to 0-3 in arrears at half-time, improved in the second period and went ahead 0-11 to 0-9.
Dublin drew level thanks to points from Maria Kavanagh and substitute Teresa Molohan, and though Kildare must have thought they had secured victory with another Jennings free in the fourth minute of injury time, Nevin was to get one more chance.
