Ireland's top Amateur Lady golfers are sure to be at the forefront of a new event which is set to take place in Liverpool next year, an event which will see a return of foursomes golf.

It is a format of golf which is not too readily available to those at the top level of the game, but the Ladies' British Open Amateur Foursomes Championships will be staged at Formby GC in early May 2nd-4th next year.

It is hoped that foursomes golf will catch the imagination of the top Amateur lady golfers. The handicap limit for the event will be 6.4 per player. Entry forms are available from the Ladies Golf Union Offices at St Andrews early next year, phone 00441334-475811.
