Ireland's Keith Nolan is on the verge on regaining his US Tour card. The Bray player is tied eighth after the fifth round of the US Tour School at the Doral resort in Miami, just four behind the leader Sean Murphy.
With the top 35 and ties getting their Tour cards after today's final round, a steady effort should be enough for the Irishman to regain the card he lost last year.
Nolan came back well yesterday with a three under par round after a disappointing end to his fourth day's play on Saturday, where he took a double bogey at the 18th.

Denmark's Thomas Bjorn sank a birdie putt at the fourth play-off hole to beat Spain's Sergio Garcia in the Dunlop Phoenix golf tournament yesterday. Bjorn set himself up for the title when his superb approach shot on the par-five 18th landed just three feet from the pin. The Dane sank his putt while Garcia made par.
They had finished the 72 holes sharing the lead on 270, both shooting 67 in the final round. Darren Clarke shot a final round of 70 to finish twelve shots behind on 282.
