Northampton and Doncaster, who play in National League One, are among 10 member clubs to have had their allocation cut by 25 per cent for the next year, while Saracens face a 10 per cent reduction.

•TAG RUGBY: The IRFU have taken over the running of the increasingly popular Tag Rugby as and from next summer. Next year's leagues will run from May to August and the Union will be working in conjunction with the clubs with those selected as venues to share in the profits.

The new, undisclosed profit sharing arrangement will supplement the normal benefits previously enjoyed by the host clubs, such as the use of bar and restaurant facilities.
