Bolodenka ran out a thoroughly convincing winner of the Galway Handicap to notch his second victory at this year's festival.

Richard Fahey's four-year-old was a comfortable winner at Ballybrit on Thursday with Kieren Fallon on board but Declan McDonogh proved a more than able replacement yesterday.

The 9 to 2 second-favourite found a grand turn of foot and swept to the front inside the final furlong, readily drawing two lengths clear of Dynamo Dancer (9 to 1). King Of Tory (33 to 1) filled third spot, just a short-head further away, while 3 to 1 favourite Uhoomagoo - partnered by Fallon - found his stride too late and was fourth.

On The Other Hand provided handler Charlie Swan with a notable success when proving far too strong for his 17 rivals in the Handicap Hurdle. Denis Hogan guided John McManus's 10 to 1 chance to the front at the last and cleared away for a ready four-length success over 33 to 1 outsider Milord Jones. Classic Croco tired to finish third with Strand Line back in fourth.
