Motor Sport:Formula One championship leader Lewis Hamilton of England is being lined up for a head-to-head shoot-out with legend Michael Schumacher at the Race of Champions next winter.
The event, which is being held at Wembley Stadium for the first time on December 16th, pits leading drivers from all walks of motorsport against each other in identical machinery around a two-by-two track.
And Race of Champions founder Fredrik Johnsson revealed detailed talks had taken place with the 22-year-old rookie, who has won the past two Formula One races on his way to a 10-point lead in the world championship, about competing in the event.
"We have spoken to Lewis and his father, Anthony, twice (about competing). Both times after the Monaco Grand Prix," said Johnsson. "He said that he was really keen to do it."
