Limerick SFC Final/Ballylanders 2-13 Drom/Broadford 1-3:Limerick under-21 player Kieran O'Callaghan took centre stage to score a personal tally of 1-7 as Ballylanders took the Limerick title after a comprehensive victory over Drom/Broadford at the Gaelic Grounds.
O'Callaghan's goal came from a penalty midway through the second half. All of his four points from play were of the highest quality while he also converted three frees from near the sideline.
In front by 1-6 to 1-2 at the interval, Ballylanders took complete control in a second half during which Drom-Broadford could manage only a single point.
The eventual losers had corner back Anthony Donnelly sent off with 11 minutes remaining but the contest was effectively over by then as Ballylanders led 1-10 to 1-3
Seconds later O'Callaghan blasted home the penalty goal to wrap up a third title for his club and their first since 1999.
