KILDARE football supporters can get ready for the second coming of Mick O'Dwyer.
A source close to the team has said that all that remains to be done before O'Dwyer is given the reins for a second odyssey as the county team's football manager is for the rubber stamp to be applied at the meeting of the Kildare County Board next Tuesday.
The sub committee, set up to find a replacement for Dermot Earley, has now completed its business.
O'Dwyer, who brought the county to a National Football League final during his earlier reign, has been the front runner for the challenging job. He now stands ahead of his rival candidates in a field that included Mick Carolan, the county's former star midfielder, and Mattie Kerrigan.
It is understood that O'Dwyer is interested in taking up the post again and his name will be at the top of the agenda for next week's meeting.
