Buccaneers 10; Cork Constitution 16: Buccaneers, with little more than pride to play for, gave Cork Constitution a timely foretaste of the sort of drive and spirit they will face in their semi-final date with Garryowen. A significant improvement in Ronan O'Gara's display after the restart was crucial to Constitution's victory, particularly his excellent line kicking from deep which set up plenty of attacking options. One of those led to a try from Derek Dillon after 56 minutes to push them 10 points in front.
