IT Tralee 2-14 Waterford 0-14:IT TRALEE progressed to the first round of the McGrath Cup with a six-point win in the preliminary round in Carriganore yesterday.
IT Tralee led from start to finish as two goals inside the first six minutes gave them a dream start and those goals remained between the sides at the end. Although there were eight Kerrymen on the IT Tralee starting side, a Louth man proved their most impressive performer with corner-forward Barry O’Hare kicking six first-half points, three from play.
