LOUTH MANAGER: The only county still without a football manager will name their new boss at a special county board meeting tonight.
Louth have been leaderless since Val Andrews resigned and were turned down recently by International Rules manager and former Down boss Pete McGrath and ex-Down double winner Mickey Linden.
They are now expected to turn to another man with Ulster links, JP O'Kane, the former Louth and Antrim player.
He is expected to be assisted by Séamus O'Hanlon, a regular at centrefield for Louth throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: The TG4/O'Neill's women's football awards were announced on Saturday night,All-Ireland champions Cork crowning a great season with five All-Stars. Twelve of the All-Stars are first-time recipients.

WATERFORD: Stradbally won their fifth county senior football title in a row on Saturday. The reigning champions beating The Nire at Dungarvan, 1-8 to 1-4.
LIMERICK: The burial has taken place in Limerick of the late Dr Dick Stokes, winner of an All-Ireland senior hurling medal with Limerick in 1940, and also holder of a NHL medal.
From Pallasgreen, Stokes played Fitzgibbon Cup and Sigerson Cup with UCD and was a selector on the Limerick team that won the 1973 All-Ireland.
