Antrim 2-12 St Mary's 0-9:DEAN O'NEILL capped his debut for Antrim with a superb goal to set his side on their way to victory at Casement Park on Saturday night. St Mary's goalkeeper Ronan McAnenly carried the ball over his own line in the closing stages but Antrim had the game in the bag. Antrim's first came on 32 minutes from O'Neill's 25-yards strike.
Two points from Paddy Cunningham put Antrim 0-2 to 0-0 ahead after seven minutes and by the 20th minute they led 0-5 to 0-1 when Terry O’Neill hand-passed over the bar.Corner back Dermott McCann pointed as Antrim led 1-6 to 0-2 at half-time. St Mary’s improved with Kevin Mossey adding three points from play but Antrim eased to the finish.
