Former Meath Gaelic football star Colm O'Rourke proved that he is no mean golfer when he teamed up with three members from the Castle to win the annual Dublin GAA charity outing at Druids Glen last Friday. O'Rourke - a member of Royal Tara who plays off 16 - linked up with the Castle trio of Pascal Taggart, his son Shane and Jim Bradley to record a highly creditable 93 points to leave the rest of the field trailing in their wake.

The "Dubs of the 70s" outing attracted many famous names from the capital's GAA scene and no doubt they wouldn't have been too impressed having to play second fiddle to one of Meath's former greats. But by all accounts a great day was had by all, with former President Patrick Hillery presenting the prizes to the winning teams.
