The duo of Sonia O'Sullivan's return to competition was still uncertain yesterday after she had been scratched from next Friday's Grand Prix meeting in Brussels.

Confirming that O'Sullivan had been withdrawn from the meeting, a spokesperson for her agent, Kim McDonald, said that a decision on whether she runs in Berlin on August 30th, will be taken early next week.

The athlete, who underwent medical tests on her return from the Olympic Games in Atlanta, is also entered for the final meeting of the Grand Prix season in Milan on September 7th.
