Petrushka will bid to overturn Epsom form with Love Divine when the pair clash in next week's Aston Upthorpe Yorkshire Oaks.
The Sir Michael Stoute-trained filly, third to Love Divine in the Vodafone Oaks in June, has been confirmed on course to take her place in what is shaping up to be one of the races of the season.
Last year's winner Ramruma, herself the winner of last year's Epsom fillies' classic, is also an intended runner.
Petrushka's last outing saw her land the Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks at the Curragh and she will be bidding for a second Group One success for owners Highclere Throughbred Racing.
Manager Harry Herbert said: "The plan is to get Johnny Murtagh, who rode her in Ireland, to take the ride again providing his other commitments don't prevent him from being at York."
Ela Athena, who chased Ramruma home in the race last year, is also an intended runner after finishing second to Crimplene in the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood earlier this month.
