Offaly face an anxious wait in the aftermath of injuries sustained by Barry Malone and James Grennan at training on Tuesday night. Both are likely to miss the remainder of the NFL campaign and worries persist that the pair may be out of the reckoning for the championship opener against Kildare on June 13th.
For Sunday's league tie against Donegal in Tullamore in which the holders pursue their first victory, Malone's place at full-back will be filled by All-Ireland hurling medallist John Ryan, while Paul Mulvihill takes over at midfield in place of Grennan. Newcomer Bernard O'Brien is given his chance at centre half forward, and Peter Brady returns in the right corner.
The Kildare team to play Monaghan will be chosen tonight. Captain Glen Ryan is likely to miss the game because of a leg injury which also ruled him out of the previous game against Clare.
Monaghan name an unchanged 15 but make a couple of positional alterations to the side which defeated Tyrone in the McKenna Cup at the weekend.
Maurice Fitzgerald and Dara O Cinneide return to the Kerry panel after missing the last two matches.
