Division Two Round-up: Offaly overcame the challenge of Meath by an 18-point margin (3-20 to 0-11) in their Division Two clash at Birr on Saturday. After their big win over Kerry, Offaly have now scored 11-42 in their last two league games.
They led 0-7 to 0-2 after the first quarter and Joe Brady struck for a goal in the 18th minute. Meath replied with efforts by Nicky Horan. However, Brady found his range again and Offaly led 2-11 to 0-5 at half-time. Offaly struck with a third goal at the end of the third quarter with Damien Murray flicking past Mark Brennan.

The high-flying Carlow hurlers scored another dramatic Division Two win at the weekend, beating Westmeath 3-11 to 3-8, despite the fact they trailed at one stage by 3-5 to one point.
And, finally, Derry added to Kerry's hurling woe when they made the long journey south pay, with a deserved four-point, 1-16 to 2-9, victory over a depleted Kingdom side at Lerrig.
It was a meaningless game so both managers used the tie to give squad players a run and the game lacked a competitive edge.
