TURKISH soccer writers have said they would seek the prosecution of Fenerbahce's Nigerian striker Augustine Okocha unless he apologised after allegedly attacking two photographers.

"In the event of Okocha not apologising for the behaviour unbefitting the clean record of Fenerbahce, we will apply to legal channels," a Turkish Association of Sports Writers statement said.

Okocha, angry at photographers taking pictures of him to ether with his fiancee after a training session, attempted to grab the cameras from the men and punched one of them in the face, according to reports.

Okocha will apologise, Fenerbahce director, Vefa Kucuk said.
