Omagh CBS 2-16 St Jarlath's 3-11:Omagh CBS booked their spot in the All-Ireland Colleges senior A football final when they snatched victory over a gutsy St Jarlath's, Tuam on Saturday afternoon at Pearse Park, Longford.
It was all St Jarlath's in the opening 30 minutes and they led 2-10 to 1-4 at half-time, with David Shallow notching a brace of points and Michael Martin and Danny Cummins registering their goals after 13 and 26 minutes.
However, a rejuvenated Omagh CBS dominated the second half with their Galway opposition managing only two scores in the second half, the second of them an injury-time goal from Danny Cummins.
St Jarlath's did manage two late consolation scores with a Michael Martin point and Cummins' late goal. However, it was little too late as a far superior Omagh CBS, after a hard fought battle, came away with a deserving victory.
