So, we're on a roll. Stephen Carr to Manchester United? It's an old rumour that was revived by Rodney Marsh and Frank McLintock the other day, when the suggestion was made that United had "tapped" Carr. This, of course, is illegal so, cough, we doubt the story's veracity.

After receiving a public ticking off from Graeme Souness - his "attitude has not been right" - Jason McAteer's Blackburn days may be numbered. The way things are going, Rory Delap probably hopes his Derby days are up too - Middlesboro, apparently, would like to sign him.
