Olympic champion Katie Taylor meets Croatian, Swiss and American opponents in Cork and Waterford over the next three nights.

The AIBA World No. 1 lightweight, kicks off an intensive month of preparations ahead of her title defence at the 9th Women’s European Championships in Romania in late May/June.

Taylor is also due to take part in a training camp with the Irish Elite team in Germany later this month ahead of the Europeans in Bucharest on May 31.

Taylor faces Croatian champion Marija Petric at the Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork tonight and she’s in against two-time Swiss champion Anais Kistler at the same venue tomorrow. She meets Kristin Carson at the Dungarvan Sports Centre on Saturday night.
