There was joy and pain for the Dunlop family on the Isle of Man on Friday, where Michael won his fourth TT title in a row and brother William broke his leg.

In becoming the first rider to register four consecutive wins, Michael joined Northern Irishman Phillip McCallen and Steve Hislop on 11 career TT wins.

He finished four seconds ahead of Conor Cummins in second and 13.5 ahead of Guy Martin of Tyco Suzuki in third.

Michael’s older brother William was airlifted away from the track after crashing out on lap three but the news coming out of Tyco Suzuki camp was positive.
