Ireland’s Seamus O’Connor has finished tenth in the Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle World Championships in Kreischberg, Austria.

The 17-year-old, who hails from San Diego but represented Ireland at the Sochi Winter Olympics, finished the final with a score of 54.50, with overall winner the USA's Ryan Stassel finishing on 97.50.

O'Connor, who's trained by New Zealander Sam Wilkinson, failed to reproduce his fantastic showing in the semi-finals, where his score of 90.33 was the second highest overall and saw him ease into today's final.
