It’s all to play for in the men’s Premier League this weekend as the chase for the league title gathers momentum. Last weekend, top of the table side UCC Demons dropped their first game of the season, to rivals Neptune.

Having led by 16 points in the final quarter, Demons’ collapse late in the game has been blamed by some on complacency. The defeat makes every game crucial as Demons only remain in first place due to a superior head to head record over Killester, as the Cork side take on Belfast Star this weekend.

In the Women’s Premier League, all eyes will be set on Limerick when DCU Mercy travel to take on UL Huskies.

Although Team Montenotte Hotel Cork top the league table they do so with two games in hand and four losses recorded.
