Tipperary Preview: At this stage last year it was possible Classic glory rather than a seven-furlong Tipperary maiden that was being talked about for Raydan but the disappointing colt can finally win his first race this evening.

The Danehill colt was saddled with a big reputation as John Oxx's best three-year-old prospect of last spring but it never quite happened for him.

Raydan's odds-on debut took place on atrocious ground at the Curragh where he struggled home in fourth and his only start was an even worse effort at headquarters in June.

That was the last we saw of him but significantly he is still in training on the Curragh with Oxx and that alone makes him hard to ignore in the last race today, especially with Mick Kinane aboard.

Cliffs Of Duneen ran fifth to Alone He Stands at the Curragh on Sunday and should be up to winning the five-furlong race on the back of that.

A proven winner on soft ground she is weighted to take care of this opposition.

Radiator Rooney has been busy on the all-weather this winter, winning at Lingfield in February, and may be one to follow in the apprentice handicap.
