St Columba's overcame Wilson's Hospital in a closely fought tie at The King's Hospital, Palmerstown, yesterday. Wilson's Hospital almost opened the scoring after 18 minutes, but two minutes later Columba's grabbed their try when outhalf Henry Spiller launched a long ball from halfway. Daniel Manning chased up, latching on 10 metres out and sprinting in. It was Manning again who sealed it just on full time with a 25-metre penalty.
