Eileen Rose Power will be hoping to claim the women's Inter-Bank title for the Bank of Ireland when it is played on her home course at Kilkenny next week (September 11th to 14th).
This is the 30th playing of this keenly-contested event and the Bank of Ireland will be hoping it will be a lucky 13th title for them. However, defending champions AIB, with the help of Carol Wickham (Laytown and Bettystown), Pamela Murphy (The Island) and Grange senior cup player Sheena O'Brien Kenney will have plenty to say about the outcome. AIB have won the title eight times, and three times in the last four years.
