Pres Bray 17 CUS 3:PRESENTATION COLLEGE Bray passed this test against CUS at the second time of asking with a spirited display at St Columba's College.
The neutral venue for this replay proved heavy going for both sides, but Presentation Bray dealt a little better with that hurdle to land themselves a berth in the semi-finals.
Cathal Martin crashed over for the Bray school in the 14th minute after Daire Henderson had split the CUS rearguard with a blistering run.
Conor Byrne followed up with an easy conversion before swapping penalties with CUS’s Tom Newman.
Loosehead Matt Thompson was the benefactor of some sustained Bray pressure on the CUS line.
His try was converted by replacement kicker Stephen Kirwan after Byrne had hobbled off.
