Bohemians v St Patrick’s Ath

Bohemians v St Patrick’s Ath

Venue:Dalymount Park

Kick-off:Tonight, 7pm

WITH his list of unavailable players more or less unchanged from Tuesday night when Derry City humiliated St Patrick’s Athletic in Inchicore, Jeff Kenna makes the trip to Dalymount Park knowing that much the same side will simply have to do a lot better if anything like a repeat of last year’s early season win at their rivals is to be achieved.

That seems something of a long shot but a little more pride and passion might at least put the visitors in with a shout of a draw.

Kenna’s ability to shake things up is limited by the absence through injury of Mark Leech, Gary Dempsey, Bobby Ryan, Gareth O’Connor, Stephen Maher and Gints Freimanis but Ryan Guy may be fit to figure after missing the midweek defeat with a calf strain.

Gary Deegan is still suspended for the home side and Neale Fenn continues his recovery from a calf strain but Pat Fenlon has more than adequate cover.
