THE Irish squad for the forthcoming UEFA Under 16 Championship was announced yesterday by team manager Maurice Price who has decided to gather a 16 strong panel for the group qualifying tournament which takes place between the 18th and 22nd of this month in Northern Ireland.

Lithuania join the Republic and Northern Ireland in the three team tournament which is to be played at Coleraine and Limavady with Price's side meeting the Lithuanians at 2.0 p.m. on the 20th and their hosts at 7.30 p.m. two days later.
