Cork City ... 3 Bray Wanderers ... 0: Cork City's scintillating home form was on show at Turner's Cross last night as they cruised to a win over a poor Bray Wanderers. It was their fourth time to score three goals this season.
Cork took just 13 minutes to open the scoring when John O'Flynn found the back of the net for his 10th goal of the season following a botched clearance form Bray defender Colm Tresson as the home side's early pressure yielded a precious dividend.
Not content with the one-goal cushion, Cork continued to apply pressure and they doubled their advantage on 31 minutes when Greg O'Halloran got on the end of a Billy Woods free kick to head home from six yards.
On the resumption the home side were again on form, with man of the match Alan Reynolds leading the charge. On 70 minutes he played a superb ball to George O'Callaghan, who let fly from just inside the box to complete Cork's scoring for the night.
Bray's nightmare worsened on 86 minutes when defender Jody Lynch was shown the red card for a petulant retaliation on Cork substitute David Warren.
