Totttenham v Stoke:TONY PULIS has called on Stoke fans to help the team "finish the job off" over the next few weeks as his side's long and demanding season nears its end.

Due to runs in the League Cup and Europa League, the Premier League outfit played their 46th game of a gruelling campaign on Sunday when they were defeated 2-1 at Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

They now have 10 Premier League games left to contest and head into tonight’s clash with Tottenham at White Hart Lane lying 14th in the table.

“We’ve had a fantastic season, especially when you look at what we’ve achieved in the cup competitions, but now we just need to get over the line,” Pulis said. “We still need a few points in the Premier League and we want to finish as high in the table as possible.

“The supporters were fantastic once again (at Sunday’s match), but we’ll need them over the remaining matches to help push us over that line.

“So I am asking the fans personally to get behind us because the lads certainly need that little bit of help.”

Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp said last night his Tottenham players were staying positive following the trauma of Bolton’s Fabrice Muamba’s cardiac arrest at White Hart Lane last Saturday as they look to “get back on the bike” and return to action in tonight’s game.
