"It's always 50/50 in Leinster. After Offaly beat Kildare, I felt that we had a great chance because Kildare are a team we always seem to struggle against. But we had Dublin to get over as well so I wasn't really looking beyond them."
"Just playing underage football on the old pitch in Carnaross. My father used do a bit of training when I was a youngster."
"I'd have to say the Leinster final against Dublin this year is the one that stands out."
"I think probably Cathal Daly of Offaly."
"I think it's a good thing, a positive move. The idea behind it seems to be that players need to be better looked after financially and I'd support that."
Anthony Lynch
"I was just delighted to make the team. A permanent position on this team is great because it is a good team and when you see people like Mickey Donovan from Dohenys on the line, you feel privileged just to be there. My ambition was always to win an All-Ireland but I'd no experience of being out of Munster. I always visualised it but it was so far away. It isn't so far away now."
"I grew up in a Gaelic football household. My uncle Jerry played for Cork and won an under-21. I don't remember him bringing home the cup but saw photographs. We were always urged towards Gaelic football, being from a Gaeltacht area."
"The Munster final definitely because it was my first time winning a way out of Munster. It was my first big game at senior, my Munster final debut and we won. To be up in that stand there in front of a sea of Cork fans was something I'll never forget."
"All opponents are tough. John Crowley is a very good player and I'd rate him highly, very good to get a goal and with good positional sense. Good off his left and right and very strong."
"A lot of people say that players don't get their fair dues but I think things are going alright as long as you get compensated for work. Players do get exposure and do get their rewards for it, if not financial, in other ways. You should be compensated for travelling expenses. A holiday for players and their wives should definitely be available considering the amount of effort that goes into it."
