Queen's Univ 1-17, Down 1-11A brilliant second half, in which they scored 1-9, saw Queen's University dethrone McKenna Cup holders Down in Newry last night.

The sides were level at half-time (Down 1-5, Queen’s 0-8) with the Down goal coming in the 15th minute from Cathal Magee.

Queen’s won the game in the three minutes after half-time with a goal and a point from James Kielt. They play Donegal in the final on Saturday night in Omagh.
