In Question tries his hand over fences and can get his new career off to a winning start in the Hamlet Cigars Novices' Chase.

The Thorpe Satchville Handicap Hurdle is a trappy contest with all six runners having claims. However, it could pay to side with Enipeus from Martin Pipe's yard.

Pipe does well with his ex-French horses and Enipeus, formerly trained by Pascal Bary, proved to be no exception in his first term over hurdles in 1998/99 winning three times.

He finished a 13-length second to Lively Encounter under 12 st. 1 lb. at Uttoxeter on his final start when he appeared to find the ground on the quick side.
