BOXING: Katie Taylor is just one fight away from winning her second consecutive women's European senior championship gold medal following her third victory in four days in Warsaw yesterday.

Taylor defeated Turk Tatar Gulson 18-15 in the semi-final in a repeat of last year's last-four clash in Norway which she also won en route to gold.

Yesterday's win was also sweet revenge for Taylor who lost out by just one point to Gulson in this summer's EU championships semi-final.

The 19-year-old St Fergal's Bray lightweight will meet Russian Tatyana Chalaya, who beat Gulson (49-24) to claim gold in last year's World Championships in Podolsk, Russia, tomorrow.
