Demophilos won't find it as easy as it was at Christmas, but the 2001 St Leger runner-up should still make it two from two over hurdles at Navan today.
Adarma's first-flight fall when long odds on handed victory to Demophilos at Leopardstown, but even though he effectively had just a school around to win by a distance there was still a lot to like.
Trainer Dessie Hughes certainly thought so and immediately pitched the ex-Amanda Perrett-trained star towards a Cheltenham preparation.
Demophilos should have the measure of the Down Royal winner Hour Of Need, who steps back in trip, and the weight allowance to his fellow Leopardstown scorer Waterlily also doesn't look enough to stop him.
Paul Carberry can also score in the Proudstown Hurdle if Strife Leader goes here instead of to tomorrow's Pertemps qualifier at Leopardstown. The step back up in distance looks ideal.
The jockey to follow, however, could be Conor O'Dwyer, who can kick off the day with a winner on Bon Temps Rouler. This one's bumper fourth to Blazing Liss, with Total Enjoyment in third, at Punchestown in May now reads pretty impressively.
It Got It looks the obvious one in the Beginners Chase, while O'Dwyer is on Like-A-Butterfly's three-parts brother Like A Bee in the maiden hurdle where his stamina should come into play.
JP Magnier is on the newcomer George Custer in the bumper and this one may be up to giving his young rider a seventh success of the season in Ireland.
