with Milan now trailing their city rivals by nine after 16 matches.

Alessandro Del Piero put hosts Juventus ahead with a 16th-minute penalty but Milan, without the

injured Kaka, levelled on half an hour when Ronaldinho set up Brazilian compatriot Alexandre Pato

to crash home from close range.

Juventus retook the lead four minutes later when Giorgio Chiellini headed in before Brazilian-born

Amauri struck either side of Massimo Ambrosini scoring for Milan and Gianluca Zambrotta seeing red for the visitors.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice in the last 11 minutes to seal a nervous win for Inter Milan at home to bottom side Chievo yesterday.

SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE

A LATE Stephen McManus header gave Celtic a share of the spoils against Hearts at Parkhead on Saturday and maintained the champions' four-point lead over rivals Rangers at the top.

A fine Andrew Driver goal after 23 minutes put the visitors ahead with only a great save from Artur Boruc before the break preventing him getting a second goal.

Celtic came back strongly in the second half, however, with McManus in the right place in the 78th minute to draw level.

Kyle Lafferty rescued a point for Rangers at Tannadice but their title challenge was hit.

Rangers were comfortable at half-time thanks to Kris Boyd's early strike, but Dundee United turned the game on its head as Lee Wilkie and Warren Feeney both converted Paul Dixon crosses within four minutes.

Rangers struggled to get back in the game until substitute Lafferty finished well 14 minutes from time.

Hibernian's Derek Riordan came off the bench to notch his sixth goal this season and inspire the hosts to a 2-0 win over Hamilton.
