Stephen Prendergast won the gross with 35 points. There was also two holesin-one with Peter Early aceing the 12th and and Liam Browne holing his teeshot the sixth.

In nearby St Anne's, Sean Andrews, a brother of captain Frank, led the qualifiers on the first day of the captain's prize with an excellent 66 off 22 handicap while Tommy McDonald equalled his age in shooting a 62 off 15 handicap to lead the second day qualifiers.
