Shannon

Shannon make just the one change from the team that defeated Buccaneers for the game against Clontarf at Thomond Park.

John Langford returned to Australia for Christmas and misses this match, his absence necessitating switching Brian Buckley to the second row and the introduction of Redmond Collins to the blindside flanker's berth. Peter Stringer will be on the bench as will Alan Quinlan.

Shannon: J Lacey; J O'Neill, N McNamara, M Lawlor, C McMahon; A Thompson (capt), C O'Loughlin; M Horan, F Roche, J Hayes; M Galwey, B Buckley; R Collins, A Foley, D Quinlan.

St Mary's College

John Mcweeney will play his first game for St Mary's College since a summer shoulder operation in tomorrow's AIB League Division One clash with Garryowen at Templeville Road. He returns to the left wing and will be joined by fellow international Denis Hickie who resumes on the other flank after recovering from a groin strain. Peter McKenna switches from centre to full back while coach Brent Pope is optimistic that Mark McHugh will be fit enough to partner Gareth Gannon in the centre following an ankle injury.

St Mary's College: P McKenna; D Hickie, M McHugh/A Conboy, G Gannon, J McWeeney; E Hekenui, E McCormack; J O'Connor, P Smyth, E Byrne; D Griffin, M O'Kelly; T Brennan, V Costello (capt), S Jennings.

Postponement

The AIB League Division One game between Ballymena and Young Munster, scheduled for Eaton Park tomorrow has been postponed due to a six inch snow covering on the pitch.
