AIL Round-up: Clontarf and Garryowen both picked-up wins to extend the gap at the top of the AIB All-Ireland league today after Cork Constitution's game against St Mary's College was called-off.
'Tarf scored an all-important bonus point to tie with 'Owen on 51 points but the Dublin side to top by virtue of a better scoring aggregate.
Garryowen travelled to IRFU headquarters and were made to work hard before they ran out 14-10 winners against Lansdowne. 'Tarf, on the otherhand, recorded and easy 36-8 win over Belfast Harlequins at Castle Avenue.
Cons' game was called-off as a mark of respect to former player Conrad O'Sullivan, who died suddenly this week. The fixture is rescheduled for April 22nd.
Elsewhere there were home wins for Buccaneers and Shannon, while UCD, Ballymena and UL Bohemians all took to the road and came back with the points.
