RUGBY – SQUAD NEWS: Ulster coach Matt Williams has named a 26-man squad ahead of Saturday's Heineken Cup game against Pool 4 leaders Harlequins at Ravenhill.
Number eight Robbie Diack has been ruled out after sustaining a fractured metatarsal in his right foot during last weekend’s 21-15 defeat away to Edinburgh in the Magners League.
Ryan Caldwell makes a timely return from an ankle injury and could feature this weekend. That said Chris Henry and Willie Faloon have also been drafted into the squad.
Byrn Cunningham (back) and Simon Danielli (hamstring) both return to the backline but Timoci Nagusa is still unavailable.
Ulster will not qualify for the knockout stages but, after last weekend’s defeat, they will want to revive their recent good run and deny Harlequins, who would ensure qualification to the last eight if they win.
Even if Dean Richards’s side lose in Belfast they can still top the pool if they beat Llanelli Scarlets at the Stoop the following weekend.
Stade Francais are second in the pool and can still qualify as one of the two best runners-up but are likely to need to bonus point wins.
Williams will name his match day 22 on Friday. Kick-off on Saturday is 1.35pm.
