Rugby:Fionn Carr and Steven Sykes are doubts for Leinster's Pro 12 trip to the Sportsground to meet Connacht on New Year's Day (5pm).
Both players picked up injuries in the 42-13 win over Ulster at the RDS on St Stephens’s Day.
Carr is a “cause for concern” after his ankle was badly twisted under a heavy tackle and the winger, who scored the first try against Ulster, may have to sit out a trip back to his former stomping ground.
Lock Sykes sustained a knock to his knee and will also be monitored, while Mat Berquist (knee) and Dominic Ryan (ankle) are still scheduled for January returns.
Joe Schmidt’s squad will be revealed tomorrow.
Munster’s 30-man squad for their game against Ulster at Ravenhill on Friday shows some notable absentees, with Donncha O'Callaghan, Paul O'Connell, Donnacha Ryan, Conor Murray, Ronan O'Gara and Keith Earls all rested at the behest of the IRFU.
Peter O’Mahony remains sidelined by a jaw injury, while Danny Barnes will sit this one out having made 11 starts plus three appearances off the bench this season.
Tony McGahan will name his side tomorrow afternoon.
