London Irish captain Bob Casey has been named captain of the Ireland A team for the upcoming Churchill Cup to take place in Canada and the USA in June.

Casey has been capped five times at full international and is part of the Ireland senior squad that will play against the Barbarians on Tuesday, May 27th.

Following that game, Casey will join up with the rest of the 28-man squad before they depart for Canada, where they will face the USA in their first game on June 11th.

There is also a new addition to the coaching team for the Churchill Cup, with former Ireland scrumhalf Dave O'Mahony named as assistant coach for the tournament.
