The Celtic League finally secured long-term backing today after the cider company Magners - known as Bulmers in Ireland - signed a three-year deal as the inaugural title sponsors of the competition.
The competition, which has pitched together the Irish, Welsh and Scottish regions since 2001, will be known as the Magners League until 2008.
Reigning champions Ulster open the defence of their title on the first weekend of September against Llanelli at Ravenhill.
Munster and Connacht both start away from home against Cardiff and Borders respectively. Leinster have a free week and open their campaign on week two away to Edinburgh.
