Rugby:Celtic Rugby will introduce a centrally managed Independent Disciplinary Process from February 1st, 2011. Ireland's David Martin will become the first Independent Disciplinary Chairman and Jon Davis as it first Disciplinary Officer.

Davis, within his remit as Tournament and Operations Director for Six Nations, is also responsible for disciplinary matters for the Six Nations Championship at Senior, Under-20 and Women’s level as well as November Tests and as such can bring that experience and understanding to bear when dealing with Magners League disciplinary matters.

It has been agreed that the structure for any panel will be chaired by a legally qualified but neutral chairman.
